This is my first time buying a FTA receiver which is basically free satellite TV. I needed to know where I could also get the codes for FTA receiver. I NEED LENGTHY ANSWERS WITH IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS, PLEASE EXPLAIN ALL THE FEATURES AND A LINK WITH ALL THE INFO OR A GOOD DEPENDABLE SOURCE!

Legal use of FTA receiver, which cannels are available? Will I get the same channels that are on basic cable?

What channels can I receive legally with a FTA receiver. Will I get the same channels that are on my basic cable package, like Discovery, HDT(discovery HD theater) TLC, Speed Channel, History, Food Network?
